Here are five things I am loving and doing this week to inspire yours:
Spring is here, or so the calendar says. I have been loving all the beautiful spring flowers coming up everywhere.
We live super close to the California Academy of Sciences, no matter how many times we go, I always find something new to marvel at.
I don’t love Disney (world or land), but the kids do and even though it is not my thing, I LOVED taking the kids to Disney World last year. The pure joy in their faces is unbelievable. Check out the post I wrote this week on What to Know Before You Plan Your Trip.
The kids have been wanting to go to the San Francisco Zoo, but I feel like every time we plan a visit, it has been raining. We finally got a trip in this week. My favorite part of the zoo by far is the Grizzly Bear Feeding, it is phenomenal, if you haven’t seen it, you need to check it out on your next visit.
We went to the zookeeper lion talk and I learned that this male line is almost 100lbs bigger than the average male and is the biggest in captivity. He was right next to the window, I think this is the closest I have ever seen him! #nozoom
Rituals are so important for kids. We haven’t had a parent-kid date night in a while, but when we do, Big D almost always want to go to Nopalito and sit at the bar. It’s the perfect spot for a date night, good quesadillas for kids and delicious food for adults, and if you stick to the appetizer menu, not too pricey.
